Falcao Punctatus (a performance)
Falcao Punctatus is a bird that is threatened by extinction. One of the reasons why these birds are dying, it‘s because they can not integrate into other places, they insist to stay where they are and then die due to human destruction of their habitat. In this performance, Steven Adjei Sowah is the bird Falcao Punctatus. The text is written by Steven Adjei Sowah and Sultan Çoban. He performs in an empty abandoned room the same text for four days in loops. This work is an edited excerpt of a four-day performance for only one audience member and a camera that has a hidden camera role such as in documentaries.
